Today we started creating a Walking simulator game. We started creating an interactive environment, which allowed the player to access specific objects in the game and use them for something. So I made a house and created a door which needed a key to open. I then created a C# script “KeyController” which meant that when the player gets the key, the key disappears and the door opens.
I then created another C# script “Highlighter” which showed text on the UI (User interface) of what the character was looking at. So for example, when I hover my mouse over an object, the name of the object will appear.
